60 years of FNF and End of the Year event
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation celebrated this year 60 years of establishment (1958-2018). On this occasion, all over the world many events were organized by the Foundation. Our office in the Palestinian territories organized on December, 19th an event for partners and friends of the Foundation. The celebration of the establishment and the End of the Year event was conducted under the topic “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Palestine”. The keynote-speech was delivered by Dr. Safa Nassereldin, Vice President, Al-Quds University and Vice President of the Higher Council of Innovation & Excellence. This was followed by a panel discussion on the topic of the event with two young entrepreneurs, Ms. Abeer Natsheh– Founder and Managing Director of “My Pink Electronics” and Mr. Imam Hithnawi – CEO of “Flow Accelerator”, in addition to Mr. Tareq Touqan – Lawyer & Copartner in Equity Legal Group and Dr. Safa Nassereldin. The panel discussion was moderated by the well-known journalist and friend of the Foundation Mr. Talaat Alawi – Chief Editor of Alsafeer Economic Newspaper. The participants discussed for about one and a half hours the challenges and difficulties Start-Ups and entrepreneurs are facing as well as the legal and eco-system of Innovation in Palestine. At the end of the celebration all participants were invited to a dinner.
