A new project funded by the German Ministry of International Cooperation & Development (BMZ) already started in April 2016 and will last for four years. The project will be implemented by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation – Jerusalem office in cooperation with our NGO partner “Human Rights and Democracy Media “SHAMS” in Ramallah.
The overall objective of the project is to raise community awareness on the importance of Anti-Corruption, Transparency and Integrity by following and abiding by the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). To develop strategies, action plans and recommendations on the level of Palestinian governorates to prevent, reveal, investigate, sanction and combat corruption. Around 24 activities for implementing this project during the 4 year period include strategy session, roundtables, media shows, public events, trainings, hearing sessions and a walkathon.
